• I did an extensive search both in this support forum & on the web on how to remove the ReadyGraph banner at the top of the Notification Settings page. I found numerous replies from Subscribe2 admins stating that you simply use the “close button” to get rid of it.

I can not find a close button or any other way to dismiss that banner. I’ve been using Subscribe2 for years & am about to start open registration. I was fine with simply ignoring the banner myself but it is also appearing on the notification setting pages for all registered users (non-admins) which is unacceptable.

Please confirm if the button was removed, was never added or if I am missing something here. Any custom coding to remove the banner if there is not a built-in dismiss button?

From my Googling of “readygraph banner” it seems there should be a X in the top corner to dismiss the banner message.

@mattyrob, Yep, that’s what I read in more than one Google search although most were about a year or more old, some stating that the “X” close button was one the way in the next update rollout.

I run my site, front & backend, on the latest versions of FF, Chrome & IE and I don’t have the “X” button to close the banner on any of them. Would upload an image here if I could. I have the latest version of the plugin & WP as well.

I will say that there is a white “Help” tab that falls down to cover the upper-most right-hand corner of the banner (just to the right of the orange “Connect ReadyGraph” button) that I thought might be covering the X button but that help tab is associated with the Subscribe2 plugin so it can not be dismissed, it stays in place while the help info pops up in a window above when clicked.

With as popular is this plugin is, I was hoping that someone else could chime in if they have/are also experiencing this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to clarify: I just deleted & re-installed Subscribe2 on my local site & noticed a “Connect to ReadyGraph” banner that appeared at the top of my plugins page. That banner did have an “X”, which I was able to close. However, the banner I was referring to in the original post above is the one that appears on the top of all of the Subscribe2 settings pages as well as the page where registered users can select/de-select specific categories.

That banner is blue with an orange exclamation mark & an orange “Connect ReadyGraph” button with the message “Grow your site traffic faster: Activate…..” This is the banner that I need to get rid of as it is unacceptable for my registered users to see this when viewing their user notification settings page.

Anyone figure out how to get rid of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know where mine came from until i updated jetpack. i cant get it to go away

    Hi,
