Remove registration fields

Hi,

This plugin is a really great find, it seems to be exactly what I need. But there’s one thing I can’t figure out: Is there a way to make certain fields in the registration form optional?
I’ve set the payment gateway to Mollie and the Contact Details to ‘Collect Name, Address & Email’.
This makes all fields required, but we don’t need all this info and don’t want to force people to submit it. And in The Netherlands we don’t have Counties or States anyway, so these fields are redundant to my needs.
But I do want people to leave at least email and phone number, and the ‘Collect Name & Email’ option doesn’t offer that.

Is this possible, and if so how? I followed the instructions in this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/naking-reservation-fields-optional/
But this only hides the fields, but they still are required.
