• How do I remove the responses on a particular page? I went to quick edit for that page and unchecked allow comments, but it still shows ‘responses’ section at end of page. It looks like same header as comments on other posts but you can’t make a comment.

It looks bad, it’s on a product sales page and I’d prefer to not have comments, especially a blank comment area. Is this something particular to hueman theme and how do I remove that?

You can see it at the bottom of this page:

    Thanks!

  • Hi platingpixels Checked the page in your link but don’t see any “responses” or “comments” section. Were you able to remove it?

Hi thanks for the response. I found a setting on the page edit screen called ‘discussions’ that I could check them off. However, it look like ping/trackbacks still showed up even if it was turned off. I had to delete them (since it’s a newer page and they were just from my own site anyways).

Do I have to delete trackbacks to not show them or is there a different way to hide?

Here are a couple of other ideas:
    1. Check in Settings > Discussion > Default article settings, disable “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)”.
    2. Here is a plugin you might look at.
    3. And, if you need to update existing posts/pages, take a look at this thread.
    Hope that helps.
