    Hi,
I have a survey running – and used your plugin to implement the script on all pages of the site. Works fine. But I would like to exclude the script on one page only – our order page, since i do not want to disturb the user there.

How do I do that? I was looking for a feature like “exclude on following urls”, but it wasnt there.

In one answer on this forum you have written:
Option 2: If you need same script on multiple pages and not on homepage, keep script in global HEAD section and add to page specific HEAD section of the homepage a simple HTML comment (eg. <!– / –>), and enable “Overwrite” behavior. This will remove global script from homepage.

… But I do not understand this. Can you please explain in a dummy way how to do it? I added <!– / –> to head section of order page, did not work,-) I do not know where to enable “overwrite beahviour”.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @bikerunner,

Thank you for choosing Head & Footer Code for your project!

Please check out following screenshot on which you can see how to configure your checkout page in order to override global HEAD code with one entered on specific page:

Please let me know if you have any further questions?

Thanks for replying back to me!

I do not have this view in my wordpress… When I edit my order checkout page, I only have this view: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EWlGaWy8p5OqMPc4yV_5dfGe-nxaBh2h/view?usp=sharing

I am using WP Bakery as my editor in WordPress. Do you know any other ways of doing it? Pasting it in like in the picture above does not work, I assume because I dont have the “overwrite” option. Can I somehow not remove it directly from the code on this page or something like that?

Can you please check and confirm you have https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/head-footer-code/

If you have not our plugin, please contact that othee plugin developers.

    Thank you for understanding,

    Hi again,

Yes I am using your plug-in. The printscreen I sent you is from the view I have in the editor of the checkout page (where I understood it as you wanted me to add <!– / –>, but maybe that is not what you meant?).

I am attaching what it looks like for me in the Head & Footer code plugin view here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10qulWsGguvotKWNqS-nlMe_PVvyKHC3T/view?usp=sharing

As you can see I have added a script to head here, for the survey, and it is now added to all pages on the site. But the question is – how do I exclude it from the page bikerunner.dk/order specifically?

    Hi again,

Okay, I suspect that the order page is maybe a custom post type that is not enabled on the HFC settings page.

For further assistance, can you please screenshot the whole Head & Footer Code plugin settings page and whole “order” page edit screen, including the address bar in the browser?
For better privacy, you can share those two screenshots in GDrive only with the email address techwebux AT gmail DOT com (replace AT and DOT with @ and .)

    Thank you for understanding,

Ticket status update: The issue is resolved by enabling Head & Footer Code for the page Post Type and adding <!-- / --> as per initial instructions.

    Kind regards,
    Aleksandar
