I have similar problem
Need help and cannot do it by myself.
1. Need all width of menubar, so i need to totally get rid of search box in menubar.
2. Have problem with encoding of UTF-8 characters. Some of my Polish Language characters are not encoded correctly – not in page content but in additional descriptions, ie. “Home” page in my language is “G?ówna”. But on page it shows as “G?owna”. Another example is “RSS channel” description words on sidebar – Should be “Kana? RSS” is “Kana? RSS”
3. The last thing is when i run search i receive in output wiew of whole page with searched content when i need only hiperlinked page/post title.
