Remove Search Box in Twenty Fourteen

Hello, I am using twentyfourteen theme – good it is too, very responsive.

But I would like to remove the search box icon (the magnifying glass) from the header menu line.

you can see the search box with the icon there to the right at the top.

Obviously when this gets resolved, it will disappear.
