• I’d like to remove the message/link “search provided by Store Locator Plus” below the map. I’m a Pro Pack AND Store Pages user. This suddenly appeared when I upgraded to version SLPlus 3.6.

    Also, an open piece of code also appears “class=’sl_footer’
    width=’100%;’
    style=’display:none;’ >” underneath the map.

    I assume both of these pieces can be edited in the same file? Just can’t seem to find it.

    @jan – thanks for the link… this is why posting and coding while on vacation and having Sam Adams as your pair coding partner is ill-advised. ??

    Have you hosted the patch yet? I went and downloaded the latest on your website, and the version says 3.6.1

    No rush if not, just wanted to make sure I’m not missing something.
    Other error I mentioned was a pebkac, so please disregard.

    Thanks for a great plugin!

    The upload of 3.6.2 got disconnected mid-push. I pushed again this morning and now the plugin directory says the update dated October 27th 2012 is more than 2 years old!

    Pushing 3.6.3 now, just to see if they can get the date right this time.

    @bwasson – what version of SLP are you running now? If you are using 3.6.2 the issue should be fixed now but the URL you posted appears to still be broken.

    If you can provide me with a zip of the theme I may be able to find a workaround. No guarantees, but I’ll do my best.

    @bwasson – SLP 3.7 has a patch that fixes more Envato themes (I hope) based on input/feedback I’ve received from various Envato/Theme Forest users.

    I am using an Envato theme as well (Made) and I am getting:

    “class=’sl_footer’
    width=’100%;’
    style=’display:none;’ >
    search provided by Store Locator Plus”

    at the bottom of my map.

    I have version 3.6.2

    I’m a little nervous to delete plugin and reactivate the other one offered as I’m unsure how to back up all my store data. ??

    I’ve been on the computer all day so maybe there’s a link or code I missed from this discussion prior.

    your data is not deleted check in database the data is store in database

    what the other problem u have

    (@charlestonsw)

    @lahna21 – if you are switching to a plugin that is NOT Store Locator Plus you will need to re-enter your data.

    I has a possible fix coming in SLP 3.7 this week that should fix more broken Envato Themes but not guarantees.

    One thing you should definitely do is write to the theme author and tell them they have a bug that is well known by Envato and they need to fix their shortcode and page content processor. They can contact Envato for more details (you may also want to link to this support forum).

    Thank you for all of your hard work! Will be buying the pro version as soon as I can!

    Quick Question –

    Do you know why the plugin map doesn’t load in IE8? I checked from a few different computers, and none of them show it.

    Thanks
    Art

    Plugin Author Lance Cleveland

    (@charlestonsw)

    @mychiropractice – I will need to check your theme. I ran a series of test on IE8/Firefox/IE9/Chrome for a client that I am assisting with SLP maintenance and everything works properly on their setup.

    Are you getting any warnings/errors in IE8 that you can see in developer mode?

    MyChiroPractice

    (@mychiropractice)

    No errors. I checked in IE9 and it works fine. But IE8 and IE7 I just see a white space where the map should be. I checked from home, office, and laptop.

    The credentials for my website are still valid if you want to check it first hand. If you need it again, please private message me. Thanks.

    P.S. I know the theme I have is a pain in the a**. I am thinking of biting the bullet and installing something else, then put a good weekend and make it look decent again. I installed another theme from Evato (downloaded it yesterday – since it was updated a week ago), but in IE8 it didn’t show up, so I deactivated it quickly.

    @mychiropractice

    I recommend WooThemes if you are looking for a new theme. They have GREAT support that doesn’t give a simple “well, go contact the theme author” response when something breaks.

    I will look at IE8 again when I have a chance, maybe later this week.

    @mychiropractice – IE8 with location sensor was breaking. It has been fixed in SLP 3.7.7
