• Hi,

our website is part of the Google News App. The app renders the content from our RSS feed. Unfortunatley this does not go well with Shariff. Any idea/option to remove the entry from the RSS feed?

We already disabled Shariff for AMP pages, but its still part of all our RSS feeds.

We are using Shariff Wrapper V 4.6.4. And we like to provide a link to our RSS feed.

    Thanks & Kind regards,

    Skrondgar

    Hi Skrondgar,

I just double checked: We have a filter in place that removes Shariff from the default rss feed and it works as expected on our installation. Are you using any RSS plugin to alter or modify the feed?

    Cheers

Yes, we do. But we had the same entries from Shariff in our feed before we were using the plugin. It wasn’t a problem that we needed to fix until Google deceided to render our page from the feed.

So, which RSS feed plugin(s) are you using?

Only “Feed Post Thumbnail”. We had to install it a couple of days ago in order to satisfy Google News. They require Images in the RSS feed. Everything else is from the theme. Oh, and we use Yoast.

But as I already mentioned. We had this issue before we installed “Feed Post Thumbnail”.
