Remove Shipping from PayPal Checkout

I suppose this should be possible after I had a look at this article but I am not pretty sure if this is completely possible as I need to check the limitations for the same with the development team for the same.

I am going to send this to our developers to check the limitations for the same and I would get back to you once I hear about it from them

Our developers went ahead and wrote a small mu-plugin to make this possible. Can you add this to your mu-plugin folder which you can find inside the wp-content folder? If you do not see a mu-plugins folder, feel free to create one and then add the file inside the folder.

Once you add this as mu-plugin it would not ask for the shipping labels in the Paypal checkout process. Please let me know if that works for you.

Thank you for your attention to this issue. I followed your instructions & installed the mu-plugin… but sadly it did not work.

Attachments are not allowed in this forum, so… here are a couple of links to screenshots that show the “shipping” option still appears.

When paying by PayPal:

Apologies. The form was initially not working for forms loading with ajax. Our developers made some adjustments and it now works. Can you replace the older plugin with this one:

Good news! I replaced the old plugin with the new version and it appears to be working as I had hoped. The shipping option no longer shows during the payment checkout process.
