• I am needing to remove the sidebar from posts and be able to use the full width of the post. I am working locally on the site so I cannot provide the url.

  • Do not edit the Twenty Fifteen theme. It is the current default WordPress theme and having access to an original, unedited, copy of the theme is vital in many situations. First create a child theme for your changes.

This is not for the Twenty Fifteen theme. The theme I am using is called “Fifteen”.

I’d like to know how to do this properly as well.

I did get it to work by editing single.php and changing the column settings …

    `<div class=”container col-md-16″>
    <div id=”primary” class=”full-width content-area col-md-12″>`

… but I’m sure it needs some more tweaking with css.

Let me know if that helps and if you can improve on my fix.

    Elizabeth
