    Greetings,

Enjoying the possibilities provided in the Responsive theme and have come against a snag.

    https://cyberchimps.com/docs/responsive-theme-settings/#sidebar
Shows drop-down options but in my Customizer, I only see On/Off options and nothing for disabling sidebar on checkout page. Am I missing something?

Also, regarding the Responsive Options -> Useful Plugins

WP Legal Pages – when Active, creates 900 separate PHP errors every time “any page” in Admin Dashboard is loaded. One also has to signup for an account before using which is not mentioned anywhere on their plugin page. Not your problem, I know, but perhaps it is best not to recommend this plugin.

GDPR Cookie Consent – for whatever reason, would not activate, no errors shown anywhere. What is the plugin page URL for this?

It would be nice if the URL of the plugin page was provided, so one could have a look see at the details before choosing to use.

Using WordPress 6.5.2, PHP 8.1 and Responsive 5.0.3

    Looking forward to your reply.

  • Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Please navigate to Customize->Sidebar->Layout. There, you’ll find alignment controls for sidebar position and option to turn off visibility of sidebar. Click on the eye icon to hide your sidebar.

Regarding the Useful Plugins recommendation, those plugins are from our sister brand. We tried importing and using those plugins and didn’t face any issues. Perhaps one of your plugins is causing some conflict with our plugins. I would recommend you raising the issue with details on [email protected] so our team can better assist you.

    Thank you for the update.

More specific to the sidebar issue is this; what is in the single page sidebar also shows in the WooCommerce sidebar and vica versa. I was looking for separation of the two.

Although the details of the Pro version mention “Sidebar Layouts” there is no description as to whether that type of separation is available/provided.

What is your reply to the question I asked, regarding the URL of the GDPR Cookie Consent? As there are so many available in the plugins section, it is hard to know which one is being suggested.

Also, I am using the Gutenberg Block Editor.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Please navigate to Appearance -> Widgets.

Check if the required widgets are present in the “WooCommerce Sidebar” as well as in the “Main Sidebar”.

If there are no widgets present in the sidebar, then an empty sidebar will be displayed.

Regarding the Cookie Consent plugin, the plugin is located at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gdpr-cookie-consent/

    Best Regards
