Remove single category from default rss feed?

How would I remove a single category from the default rss2 feed I have going now? My people are subscribed to: feed://http//mysite.com/index.php/feed/

This line in my footer creates that link.“>Entries (RSS)

I created a new category that I dont want to show in this feed. How can I hack it so that category doesnt show up to my existing subscribers? I took it out in the manage categories section, but the stories still show up.
