Remove slider in Boldy Theme on Home Page?

    Can someone tell me how to remove the slider completely on the home page of the Boldy theme? I’d like to remove it completely and replace with other information. As you can tell by looking at my site the slider is not coming up, I’d just as soon remove it. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    edit your stylesheet #slider and add display:none – this will not stop the improper use of the slider by not following the instructions clearly visible as the jquery is still running…As your theme is not part of .org it is not supported here – consult your theme dev.’s for custom php code edits to remove it.
