• Hi
I run a personal site and blog, but have zero prior coding or development experience at all. The only page I am having an issue with is my blog page. It is displaying posts as sliders only. I would like it to run like a traditional blog page with list of posts rather than sliding images. Site is here.

Reading some posts, comments indicated the slider automatically is disabled after 5 posts. I have 6 now, and it is still there. Do you have a simple suggestion for me to remove this format? Again, I’ve no coding experience.

    Thank you very much

  • 1. Create a new page.

    2. Over on the right hand side of the new page screen find the Page Attributes menu. Choose Blog for Page Template.

    3. Save page.

    4. Then go to Settings => Reading

    5. Choose the Static Page Radio Button

    6. For the drop down menu for Front Page choose the page you just created.

    7. Press Save Changes Button

You got it wrong, I don’t know where you read it but it doesn’t. Would it make sense to create a slider in a theme and then make it disappear? The slider of Leaf shows the last 5 most recent articles, and nothing is automatically disabled.
Then, I believe that blog page hasn’t a slider.
