• In the default Storefront template, is there a way to reduce the space around the text within the cover image? Thank you!

  • Hi @meisha

I’m not entirely clear which text/space you’re referring to exactly. Could you explain that a bit more (perhaps with a screenshot)?

For making screenshots, I generally recommend using https://snipboard.io — please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL here in this chat.

Thank you for your reply, Senff! I’m sorry I didn’t explain well. On the Storefront template, there’s a cover image with the title “Welcome” and some smaller text below it, also within the cover image area. I would like to reduce the space above “Welcome” and below that last line, and in effect, reduce the height of the cover image so that it’s a more narrow strip across the page. I tried adjusting the height using the handles at the top and bottom of the cover image block, however, as soon as I let go, it snaps back to being taller again. I hope that explains it better, but if not, please let me know and I’ll upload the image. Thank you for your help.

Your right, snipboard is easy and convenient! Thank you for telling me about it. Here it is: Screen capture

Thank you, Jamie! Do you know if this works with the free version of the storefront template (not Pro)?

Storefront is a free theme, and does not have a Pro version. Any themes calling themselves Storefront Pro would not be related to the theme that you can find at https://woocommerce.com/storefront/
