• I am using Twenty Ten with Child theme.

    I would like to remove some, if not all of the space between the header and the post. where it has a link to the previous post, mine currently says “Hello world” and “ads” because of an ad plugin I have..I would like to bring the post up closer to the header.

    I was also wondering if it is possible to make the box with the post and picture 940px width and splitting the columns below that if possible.

    Thank you

  • To eliminate the space, add this to the end of style.css:

    #main { padding: 0; }

    Splitting the columns would require some reprogramming of the template. That is beyond the scope of what I can do here.

    I agree with vtxyzzy. You can do a bit by editing the style.css, but if you are trying to change the shape of your template, you’re going to get a bit deeper than questions on the forum.

    You might want to explore a few more themes.
