    Hello @18pee

    Thanks for reaching out about your robots meta tag.

    The trailing slash is the only difference I noticed between

    <meta name=’robots’ content=’index, follow, max-image-preview:large, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1′ />

    and

    <meta name=’robots’ content=’index, follow, max-image-preview:large, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1′ >

    Having a trailing slash is part of the syntax for the robots meta tag in WordPress. To confirm this, you can disable all plugins on your site and switch to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty. You’ll see that the trailing slash is still present and not necessarily associated with the Yoast SEO plugin – <meta name='robots' content='max-image-preview:large' />
