    Hello,

thanks, but unfortunately no, I can not add this, because as the plugin name says, it is only for CPT = Custom Post Types.

You want to remove Taxonomies slugs and that’s something completely different.

There are other plugins doing this, but removing base slug is very tricky and you need to solve a lot of things, eg. I’ve changed this plugin a few times completely over the years, because there are many articles like your ref link, but none of them really works…

I think RankMath any Yoast SEO solved this relatively good, so just install some SEO plugin and take a look into its options and you should be able to find it there.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

Because I use SEO Framework plugin and they don’t have this feature. Another “Remove Taxonomies Slug” plugins don’t work well like your plugin.

Can you create new plugin “Remove Base Slug” with 2 features: “Remove Post Base Slug” and “Remove Taxonomy Base Slug”?

    Thanks ??

    Hello,

well, that’s the point, like you wrote: “other plugins don’t work well” -because it’s crazy hard to make it works and I’ve spent tens of hours by trying to make it works in my plugin.

Taxonomies are completely different, so creating another plugin for this would mean again tens of hours of work, testing, etc… development of such a plugin would cost hundreds of euros.

    Hi,

    Translation result

Do you think using rewrite in .htaccess for this problem is a better solution. It seems that using php code is not okay.

    Thanks ??
