Remove Taxonomy slug from url?

    Is it possible to remove the taxonomy slugs from the url?

    Inead of
    posttype-slug/taxonomy1/term1/taxonomy2/term2
    I want this:
    posttype-slug/term1/term2

    I tried to achieve that with CPT UI settings and WP htaccess Control Plugin, but it doesnt seem to work. Any ideas?

    Hi,

    BTF does not support removing the taxonomy. One of the reasons being that it would potentially cause strange or bad behaviour with the rewrite rules and results if two taxonomies had the same term slugs (very possible). It would also mean straying away from the Core filtering functionality that WP offers and BTF uses in the background.

    However you’re free to laborate with the code and see if you can make it work in your use case!
