    Hello
    I’m using WP 3.6 with Twenty Ten/twenty-ten theme.
    Site: https://www.venusvignettes.com
    Someone hacked into my account and left foreign text and website addy on the very bottom left of the blog post page. It doesn’t show up on any other pages.

    I’ve ran a bunch of scans and my system seems virus free. To remove the text I went into the editor for the page, footer, sidebar, etc., but haven’t been able to locate the words anywhere. I then went into the ftp root file, and did a search on some of the text letters. No file was recognized as having the words/letters.

    Can someone help please – where else should I be looking? Is it possible that the hacker hid it somehow?

    I’d repeat you search but as the bottom includes a link, I’d search for virperotika.net and see if you can find that in the files.

    Ow! is right! Thanks for the response Robin. After spending 2 hours going thru the editor AGAIN, with no success, I started googling for others with the same issue. I ended up deleting the themes caches,and the text and website disappeared, yea rah!
