Remove the BR from [GALLERY] shortcode

Hi guys… I’m not very good with adding filters and such so I hope you guys can help me out.

I need to remove the default BR tag from the gallery shortcode which has an inline style applied to it (which is ridiculous because wordpress is all about separating design from content right? whose dumb idea was this part?)

I’ve managed to filter the automatic CSS but I can’t work out how to get rid of this enforced line break with clear:both applied to it. I want it gone, please help!
