Remove the “category” slug from my download category URLS

Hello
I’d like to remove the “category” slug from my download category URLS.
Current: https://lowcontentplrprintables.com/downloads/category/free-plr-printables/
So it appears like: https://lowcontentplrprintables.com/downloads/free-plr-printables/
So without “category/” in the URL.
Please help. If there’s a plugin for doing this easily I’d be willing to buy it so I don’t have to play in code.
