Remove the following redirect chain if possible

Hi @sara95wp, when I try to load the original image in my browser (https://www.myweb.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/logo-1.png) it returns this error:

“This site can’t be reached”

If the original image is not accessible to our optimization servers (or in this case not accessible at all) the API redirects to the original image.

Correct URL of current image is : https://www.wellness24.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/tyler-logo-1.png

I got this error when I change any image on my website for example when I have changed my logo I start getting this error :

https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/to_webp,q_lossless,ret_img,w_250,h_102/https://www.wellness24.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/tyler-logo-1.png

Similarly I have changed few other images on website and getting same error for all the changes images.

Hey @sara95wp – I checked our logs and I can see that the domain wellness24.org already used all the 500 free credits. Also, I can see that the account where is associated used all the 100 free credits as well. This is the reason for the redirects you noticed.

Please note that a quick solution to this is to purchase additional credits.

I have 2 questions :

Is it possible for me to remove some images from your cdn so that I can get some extra space ?

Second how can I completely remove your plugin settings ?

1) not sure what you mean by “extra space”, could you please be more specific?
2) you can deactivate ShortPixel Adaptive Images and this way you’ll website will revert to the status before.

I have deactivated ShortPixel Adaptive Images, using only ShortPixel optimizes images plugin but gtmetrix pagespeed still requesting to remove Remove the following redirect chain if possible:

e.g. https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/q_lqip,ret_wait,w_1112,h_535/https://****.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/image-1.png
https://****.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/image-1.png

1) to remove images from CDN, use this doc:

2) the problem with the redirect chain happens because you also have Autoptimize plugin installed with the option to have the images optimized and served from ShortPixel CDN.
You need to either deactivate that option or to buy more credits.
