    Thanks Daniel,

    What is used these days?

FYI to change it you need to update the .po language file and then compile to .mo. But I am keen to fix for everyone in next release.

    Hello,

there is no replacement. There is no difference like the englisch miss and misses, its only “Herr” for male and “Frau” for female.

Where can I find the source for the po-files?

The situation is that someone advised me that there is a formal version of the German language. In that file it has Fraulein. /wp-content/plugins/speakout/languages/speakout-de_DE_formal.po However in the contemporary language version it has Frau. /wp-content/plugins/speakout/languages/speakout-de_DE.po

Can I have the URL of your site, I will be able to see which language setting you have and may be able to give some advice.

    Fr?ulein is outdatet since 50 Years ??
“In 1972, the West German Ministry of the Interior decreed that adult females in federal agencies were to be addressed as “Frau.” ”

Atm. we don’t use the plugin, but we try several plugins to find the one which fits best.

When your source is located on a public storage (github e.g.) I can look over the whole translation.

The source for all WordPress plugins are open and public. Go from this forum to the plugin page and then on the right, click development.

Or have a look in /wp-content/plugins/speakout/languages and all the .po files are there. But they must be compiled to .Mo to work. I can do that if you have any other suggestions.

    I appreciate your help.
