To do it without a plugin:
1. Create a child theme
2. Create a new text file
3. Copy-paste the following code in this file:
<?php
/**
Template Name: Sidebar à droite (seule)
* The template for displaying all pages
*
* This is the template that displays all pages by default.
* Please note that this is the WordPress construct of pages and that
* other 'pages' on your WordPress site will use a different template.
*
* @package WordPress
* @subpackage Twenty_Fourteen
* @since Twenty Fourteen 1.0
*/
get_header(); ?>
<div id="main-content" class="main-content">
<?php
if ( is_front_page() && twentyfourteen_has_featured_posts() ) {
// Include the featured content template.
get_template_part( 'featured-content' );
}
?>
<div id="primary" class="content-area">
<div id="content" class="site-content" role="main">
<?php
// Start the Loop.
while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();
// Include the page content template.
get_template_part( 'content', 'page' );
// If comments are open or we have at least one comment, load up the comment template.
if ( comments_open() || get_comments_number() ) {
comments_template();
}
endwhile;
?>
</div><!-- #content -->
</div><!-- #primary -->
<?php get_sidebar( 'content' ); ?>
</div><!-- #main-content -->
<?php
get_footer();
4. Save the file as template-page2.php in your child-theme folder.
5. Go in your page and select the new template…
I hope it will help.
