remove the plugins wp-cache
-
Recently I got an email from yahoo small business that I need to Upgrade my WordPress version 3.9.2 I always do my upgrades and I never had to remove anything before, except backup my database and deactivate my plugins. But this time they suggested to take the following actions to further enhance security.
1. Remove the plugins wp-cache, wp-db-backup, which have known security vulnerabilities.
2. Install w3-total-cache and all-in-one-wp-security-and firewall plugins to provide enhanced security for your WordPress site. I don’t know what happened, but soon I deleted wp-cache(under plugins)my website is down. I have an HTTP500 Internal Server Error.
This is what it look like:
The website cannot display the page
HTTP 500Most likely causes:
?The website is under maintenance.
?The website has a programming error.
Is any one PLEASE can help me out!!! What can I do to fix the problem.
My website is: https://www.mariasaxon.com
Thank you advance!!!
Maria
