Remove the Taxonomy from the sidebar in Gutenberg?

I don’t want the taxonomy selector box to display in the sidebar of the page editor.

I tried setting Metabox callback to “false” but that has no effect. (I think I saw in another post that that might only work if the Classic Editor was enabled and I’m using Gutenberg.)

If I set Show UI to false, that hides the taxonomy box on the page editor BUT also removes it from the Pages submenu (even though I have Show in menu set to true) which means I can’t add/remove taxonomy tags.

How do I hide the taxonomy selector when working in the single page editor while also keeping it visible under the left side Pages menu?
