Remove the top grey header

Loving the theme, but I find the top grey header bar really annoying as it is blocking my site’s logo as I have the logo as a background image aligned to left side of the page. I want the top to be clear with only the menu bar up there. Is there a way to remove it? I’ve only found a way to remove the bottom footer, but I don’t need to remove it.
