Remove the useage of google fonts

Question:

Is it possible to disable the usage of google web fonts when I use the Nextend Accordion Menu plugin.

Manually I can just replace the “$url = ‘https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=’;” in the file “google.php” with some nonsense but this would be overridden every time I update the plugin.

@plugin Developer: If you read the reason for the Question it would maybe make sense to give an option in the GUI to disable the usage of Google Webfonts completely.

Reason for the Question:

There will be a new European data privacy protection law in effect from 05/25/18. This law makes is very questionable ( some people even say illegal ) that if the client loads website “example.com” and the .php code tells the clients browser to also download web fonts from “fonts.googleapis.com”. Because the client wanted to visit “example.com” only and not Google ( nobody asked the client ) and now google also has his IP Address ( which is now a sensitive data under the new law).
