    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    The search field and the way how it’s added to the page is coming from the DataTables JS library. You can however remove or modify the text easily with this TablePress Extension: https://tablepress.org/extensions/change-datatables-strings/

    With that, you can also add a placeholder, by adding e.g.

    "searchPlaceholder": "Search..."

    to the JSON code.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    No trouble at all ?? That totally worked, thanks so much for your help. Might be a little complicated for an average user though.

    Hi,

    no problem, you are very welcome! ?? Good to hear that this helped!
    Yes, it might require some work, but then again, it’s probably not used that much ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
