Ok, so I found a few threads on here that walked people through how to remove the WooCommerce product image zoom feature altogether, unfortunately, that is not what I am trying to do.

I like the zoom feature and would like to keep it, however, something in the newest Storefront Theme update has charged the zoom icon from just being a little box in the corner of the image, and now is a full-on icon bar across the entire image. This doesn’t work for me as it now blocks a portion of the product image and is very distracting.

So what I would like to do is just remove the zoom icon altogether, the “product gallery trigger image” if you will, but still keep the zoom functionality when customers hover over the image.

  • Hello @twistedengineering ,

After your message, I have tried to reproduce the issue with the latest WooCommerce 4.9.0 and Storefront 3.3.0 but could not get the result.

To understand the problem better you can share the product page URL where you are getting the problem. I can share the CSS to hide the zoom icon.

    Thank you ??
