Remove thumbnail at bottom of comic

How do i remove the small thumbnail of the post that appears below the comic and navigation bar? It is directly under the calendar icon and i’d like to keep the calendar, but i’d like to remove the thumbnail. If i have to remove the calendar too then so be it, but that thumbnail just has to go.
