Remove thumbnail descriptions for particular albums.

This is correct, but there is a workaround.
On the albums involved, set the Use alt thumbsize: switch to yes and set the settings Table I-C1a equal to I-C1, I-C3a equal to I-C3 and I-C4a smaller that I-C4, so small that the description gets hidden. Also tick Table IV-C9.

Thankyou. The workaround is excellent… except that..

The reason for hiding the descriptions is that this is a camera club site and for albums containing images prior to judging we don’t want descriptions to be visible.

Unfortunately when I click on a thumbnail the pop up displays the description. I thought I could turn that off using Table 1D 4 & 5 but that doesn’t seem to work.

Table II-D4 and 5 work correctly. Maybe you have a caching plugin active?

Sorry, I’ve now removed the access control so you will be able to see the page. I can email you an admin logon if you need that.

I’ve checked the ll-D 4 and 5 settings are not ticked.

I do not have a cahing plugin, I’ve cleared my browser cache and tried with a different browser.

Gone through settings again and it turns out that llG 5 was what I needed to turn off. Obviously the “pop up” is not what I thought it was.
