Remove time stamp and send confirmation mail

Hi,

1. Is there any way I can remove the time the job was posted (e.g. “Posted 23 hours ago” appears on the individual job post as well as the all jobs page.

2. I’ve also bought the Applications add on. In addition to the new application email which is sent to our HR department, I’d also like to fire off a confirmation email to the candidate that their application has been successfully received. How do I do this?
