Remove Title Related Post

With the shortcode you can remove the title with an empty title:

[related_posts_by_tax title=""]

Use your own templates if you want to change the markup of the widget or shortcode:

i saw this possibility [related_posts_by_tax title=""], but i thought, with some funcitonality in the function.php, i can overwrite the title to be empty, because in the templates, the title is not shown anywhere and so it’s not possible to format it…

and use it like that [related_posts_by_tax] to avoid writing title all the time

add_filter( 'related_posts_by_taxonomy_shortcode_defaults', 'related_shortcode_title' );
function related_shortcode_title( $atts ) {
    $atts['title'] = '';

    return $atts;
}

You can set all your defaults with this filter so you only have to insert [related_posts_by_tax]

btw:
consider creating a child theme instead of editing your theme directly – if you upgrade the theme all your modifications will be lost. Or create a plugin with the code above.
