I accidentally turned on the automatic translation of URL slugs and now on my web pages instead of test-seite.de/?lang=en -> test-site.de.

How can I fix this again? It is really important for me to reset this.

    Hi,

Why you have the /?lang=en extension for your slug? Are you using the Language By GET Parameter addon? If so, please disable it. It is recommended just in extreme cases, such as when a user has a strong reason to not use pretty permalinks. Otherwise, it can create more issues the fixes.

To be honest I have it because I found it better than having the languages in the middle of the URL. I guess it is the only right choice to deactivate it.

The main topic remains unresolved. The URL slug is still translated… the only difference is it is /en/article-name/ now instead of the lang param… How can I fix this?

    Hi,

If you want to remove the translated URL, you can just simply delete its translation using the Translation Editor, https://translatepress.com/docs/translation-editor/.

Ah, thank you… I didn’t know that. Maybe you could point it more out in the documentation ??
