There’s a big blue button up there in the block editor’s top bar offering UAG’s pages and templates. I do not use these templates and would like to get rid of the button. Real estate is valuable up there with Top Toolbar enabled …

I found the support page on ulimategutenberg dot com and added

    add_filter( ‘ast_block_templates_disable’, ‘__return_true’ );

to my child theme’s functions.php. But the button is still there …

    What can I do?

    Hello @pmmueller ,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

We have tested at our end too and it is not working. I have reported the same to our concerned developers. They are looking into it.

Please lend us some more time.

Your patience and co-operation are highly appreciated.

I came here also looking for a way to remove this button. It would be rad if this could be an option on the Settings page going forward.

    Thanks!

    Hello @bozzmedia

Currently, the option to remove this button can be achieved by using the filter mentioned here.

And thank you for the feedback we would check the feasibility to hide it from the Settings page.

    Regards,
    Suman

That filter does not work. Says Team Brainstorm Force in post above:

We have tested at our end too and it is not working.

That’s why this thread exists …

UAG Version 1.22.1 plus Filter = Button is gone ????

So I will solve this thread. Thanx for letting me know.

    Perfect!

Glad to hear that it helped. ?? Have a great day and weekend ahead!

This filter does hide the button but it still uses the space. I had another button there, which is not visible when I use mobile device to make some important information update in my posts.
Even for the desktop, this is pushing other button like rankmath/yoast seo options

    Hello @grisma ,

Strange! It shouldn’t happen. After adding the filter mentioned here, we are directly removing the button from the post & pages.

Can you please deactivate our Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg plugin and see if space is still there?

Please share a screencast with us that points out the issue.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
