    seems like the version in the wp-options table doesn’t get updated. you can go to /wp-admin/options.php, search for autoptimize_version, set that value to 2.0.0 and click on “save changes” way at the bottom of that page.

    Thanks for your quick response! Unfortunately, autoptimize_version is already set to 2.0.0 on that page.

    I also can’t get any changes I make to the Autoptimize Settings page to save, either through the Settings menu or through this options.php page, in case that’s related.

    if autoptimize_version is at 2.0.0, then as per the code this shouldn’t happen. as you can’t options either, something must have gone wrong during the update. I’d suggest to deactivate & remove autoptimize (from WP admin screen) and to reinstall.
