If users want to book an event they need to login or make an account first. But at the registration, after cart view, there is a field for an username. Is there a possibility to remove this field? Because we don’t want them to create a username. Most people will just use their first name as username and we all know that this will only lead to ‘Sorry this username is already in use’.

    Hello,

    Thanks for using EventPrime.

The “Username” field is mandatory for account management and security reasons. Therefore, it cannot be removed.

However, you can leverage our “Guest Booking” extension as a powerful alternative, enabling you to fulfill your requirements and access further features.

With the “Guest Booking” extension you can:-
    1) Enable users to book events without the requirement of registration.
    2) Automatically generate accounts for users upon booking, with the “Subscriber” role.
    3) Utilize custom fields during the checkout process to collect additional information from guests.

Isn’t there a way the username can be created automatically by event prime in the code? So that the username is like the email address or a custom developed by time and hour?
