Remove “via WooCommerce” from Apple Pay

I’d like to remove the wording “(via WooCommerce)” that’s displayed after the merchant name when a customer is using Apple Pay. Most customers have no idea what WooCommerce is so it doesn’t make sense to display this, it’s just confusing.

I’ve tried adding a snippet (https://gist.github.com/madeincosmos/4e9c047c8433bccce931f0facb4dbe41) to the theme functions but that didn’t work. I also saw that someone suggested adding it through the Custom CSS & JS plugin but that didn’t work either.

This “via WooCommerce” wording has bothered me for years so I’d love to finally get it fixed.
