It appears that some common VPN IPs are blacklisted, regardless if “real” comments and email addresses are used in a comment form. Is there a way to disable the IP/VPN blacklist? I don’t want to deny users the ability to comment just because they use a VPN.

Hi, I have the same issue. How we solve this? Also, many contacts and customers are reporting that they can not send any question or use any form because they are blocked. Your plugin is blocking also real customers and is making as lose orders because it’s denying the registration.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your request.

We know about this issue. We will separate VPN’s IPs from Hosting type within 1-2 weeks. But if VPN’s IP will be marked as spam it can be blocked. And there is a high probability of this as spammers often use VPN. If you want you can add any IP to your personal whitelist:

    Hi,

My friend, we know that some VPNs are not spammers. MAny in Germany use it. I have now your plugin and had to add the quiz option and disable yours. Yours works good but extremely good and by that, it can make mistakes. MAny customers where reporting Spam error in contact form 7.

thanks hope that you fix it.

    regards

We don’t have issues in work with Contact Form 7 now. Could you please create a ticket here:

    https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

We would like to help you to solve any issues.

As for VPNs. We don’t plan to block them without the reason. VPNs IPs often belong to Hosting type IP, which usual users don’t use, so we mark them as spam. We plan to separate VPNs IPs from Hosting type, so it will be ordinary IPS and will not be blocked by default.

And you always have the possibility to whitelist any IP:

    Best regards
