We’re just starting and only take PayPal, using Kadence Pinnacle theme and Woo Commerce. We live and ship from Thailand. Your plugin seems to work great, but the Woo Commerce checkout page is now useless, confusing, and if any customer doesn’t understand and fills it out, the message at the bottom says: “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state…” I’d like to eliminate it and go directly to PayPal.

Can you tell me how this can be done?

I’m not a developer and am definitely code-challenged. Some advice says use Woo Commerce Checkout Manager plugin or their premium version, but there are so many horrible reviews about these plugin failures and no support, I don’t dare try it.

We initially had that handled in our plugin so that if Express Checkout was the only payment gateway you had enabled in the system it would turn the “Proceed to Checkout” button into a PayPal button and skip the checkout page altogether. WooCommerce 2.3 adjusted the way the checkout button works, though, and we’ve been a little delayed getting our 1.1.6.3 update released which resolves that already.

Until then, what you could do is probably hide the Proceed to Checkout button in your child theme’s CSS. If you want to provide a link to your site I can try to find the rule you would need to adjust for your theme.

We have released the 1.1.6.3 which I believe should resolve the issue you were having here. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, but please update and let me know if you continue have issues.

This is a great plugin but if I select Checkout from the cart icon, it still goes to my Woocommerce checkout page and will be confusing to the customer. How do I hide the Woocommerce checkout page altogether and still show the cart page, please? Should I hide the Checkout link in the View Cart screen? Thanks – https://asggames.com

If Express Checkout is the only payment gateway you have enabled then the “Proceed to Checkout” button on the cart page should simply be replaced by the PayPal button, and pressing it would send you straight to PayPal instead of the WooCommerce checkout page.

Do you have any other gateways enabled?

It is the only gateway enabled. That does work, but if I select “Checkout” from the Cart Icon, it goes to the Woocommerce Checkout page with the option to fill in your billing and shipping info. Thanks.

Sounds like something may not be quite right in the settings. Please submit a ticket here and include temporarily credentials to your site’s admin panel so I can take a quick look for you.

    Hello,

I’m having the same problem. I’m using X Ultimate theme from Themeforest, and have the latest version of your plugin (1.1.6.3.4). Could you please advise? Please let me know if I need to submit a ticket as well.

    Thanks!!
