Remove WordPress Comments

I am trying to use facebook comments. I have tried everything in tandem and by itself and can’t resolve it. I don’t want to use the WordPress comments at all, period. I only want to use the Facebook comments and social on my post pages. I do have some articles on pages but will recreate those as posts now that I better understand WordPress. I have tried facebook comment plugins and Facebook apps but can’t it to work properly. I have turned on and Settings – Discussions; unchecking allow comments for posts in the quick edit feature; and unchecked comments and discussions in the menu in edit mode for the post. I have tried every variation. Right now I have both the FB comment box and the theme comment box (gravatar) on the same post such as https://roundhousetalk.com/2012/12/some-say-good-some-say-bad-i-say-make-it-good/ but only want the FB comment box. Please help. Thanks.
