Remove WP-Optimize dashboard Msg

In a previous request, https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/remove-wp-optimize-dashboard-nag/, you provided the solution to hide the dashboard yearly msg,

display: none !important;
}

Is this still applicable? I added this in CSS section of the customizer on a site and the message still remains in the dashboard.
