remove_menu_page not being applied

Attempting to strip back the admin interface for a client, but
remove_menu_page()(in this caseremove_menu_page(admin.php?page=custompostorder)) doesn’t remove the menu items. Any ideas?https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/order-up-custom-post-order/
