Removed plugin and all content is gone

  • Hi,

    I made a terrible mistake of thinking I understand WordPress and decided to delete a plugin (“qtranslate”, old version) and now all the content from my website is gone.

    Considering I have no backup (at least none that I know of), is this reversible? I haven’t turned off computer or even closed browser since but have no idea what to do next.

  • Reinstall the plugin? The content is likely still in your database.
    (disclaimer: I’ve never worked with a translation plugin)

    Thanks for suggestion. I did that and even though in admin panel it looks the same as before removal, the pages are still blank, as if I had to activate it somehow.

    I suggest you ask at the plugin’s support forum.
