Removed shipping address support

    I installed the free version a while ago and it is still in test mode while I get all my other bits and pieces organised.

    I saw the “Removed shipping address support. Not supported natively by Stripe Checkout now” update and wonder what it means? For a physical product that is to be shipped, how does the seller (me) know what the delivery address is? How is that information to be collected?

    Hi David,

    For the Lite (free) and Pro versions of this plugin, the billing address is still stored natively by Stripe.

    In Stripe Checkout Pro, we have functionality to save custom fields as extra “meta” data in each Stripe payment. If you need a shipping address collected that’s possibly separate from the customer’s billing address, we save the shipping address separately in these metadata fields.
