Removed shipping address support

I installed the free version a while ago and it is still in test mode while I get all my other bits and pieces organised.
I saw the “Removed shipping address support. Not supported natively by Stripe Checkout now” update and wonder what it means? For a physical product that is to be shipped, how does the seller (me) know what the delivery address is? How is that information to be collected?
