Removes default wordpress capabilities – no fix

    This plugin messes with default admin user capabilities for absolutely no reason by default.

    After removal of the plugin to attempt to fix this – you will have to manually run SQL commands to try to fix what the plugin has done. Why would you create a plugin that does this?

    This has caused my team hoursof time to try to resolve and still no luck.

  • I always install plugins on a test WordPress site before I install them on my ‘real’ website.
    On my dev environment, I have two WordPress installations. One is for testing my plugins and others’ plugins, and the other installation is for the actual website that I will push to staging then production.
    I do my best not to pollute my database with 3rd party plugins before I thoroughly test them.

    And my advice to this plugin’s developer is to put a disclaimer in the plugin description to advise users to install the plugin on a test website before they install it on their actual website.
    People who use WordPress range from seasoned developers to people who know nothing about web development.

    So, that’s my two cents. ??
