Removes images from ACF

    Hi,

    I’m using Advanced Custom Fields throughout my whole site. We have a very large media gallery which has grown to 7GB over time, so was really hoping this plugin would be able to help me out.

    When running this plugin on a backup of my site (so that I didn’t loose anything on live site if it went wrong), it cleared out images that were actually in use across the fields within my pages/custom post types – the images were being used within ACF.

    Is there something I have done wrong to why this would happen?

    First of all, thank you for the awesome plugin development

    I have exactly the same problem (ACF with ~7 GB of data).

    I made a test run and a lot of images were deleted that were in use.

    We have a custom acf options page and images inserted there.

    Can you give some advise: Does the pro version can handle all of this or should the free version exactly behave the same way when it comes to acf (as you mentionned here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/acf-image-field-are-tagged-as-unused/)?

    Hello,

    Indeed, the support is better in the Pro for ACF, a while ago, I thought that it was a plugin I could support simply, but actually, I spent more time on ACF that any other plugin for compatibility and all new version brings new problematics. I will add a notice soon to announce better support for ACF in the Pro and will work harder to make it perfect.

    In your case, I would probably also need you to replicate the issue on a fresh install of WordPress. I can share one with you ??
