removing all after body content and footer

  • Hey there,

    We managed to adapt some of the code of the free theme to the needs of this volunteer project.

    Fact is … We only use himalayas free theme for the hero header and slider

    So I already created another homepage which I am still customizing, and on that homepage I need the slider … however everything that follows my content … like the forced after body content and forced footer I cannot use on any page, including the home page …

    Now as representing this group of volunteers, for now all we can invest is our time, so please do not come back with the answer we have to pay for the premium version, because besides the header ; only on the homepage, while a beautiful theme, we cannot use anything else from the theme.

    So

    1) I need to know how I can get the header only, customised by us as is, to be present on the homepage (as is), but on no other pages …

    as for content we rely on other free tools, more suiting to our needs and the visuals we are looking for

    2) how to get rid of the forced after body content with footer.

    We realize you make this free versions as an advertisement to your premium themes, so to you, I understand the forced after body brand content and branding in the footer, but I am here on behalf of our group of volunteers to seek a solution , not a referral to any paid service … as I pretty sure there are lot’s of paid services who can solve this problem …. but we have NO MONEY to spend, hence the choice for the free header/slider of the free himalaya theme and other free tools.

    As a thanks for the alowing to use only the header / slider of the free theme … we are willing to put your brand on a specific designated area which will be reserved for our sponsors (which still has to be added at this point) … as a replacement for your branding in after body content and footer.

    I hope this way we can get the SOLUTION we need ..

    To get the result as you desired, you must activate the child theme. You can get knowledge about the child theme and download the Himalayas child theme from the link below.

    If you can code on your own, then you can do it via the child theme.

    Thnx for the reply, but by now we figured out by ourselves, how to completely get the result we want.

    As stated earlier in our objective, we removed all themegrill’s branding in footer and bottom footer, as that would not work for our site, but we gave themegrill a generous link in our own footer on the homepage, for now temporarily still at https://stilettomagazine.ml/ … in case you wanna check

    We did modify the theme itself … but backuped all original code so we can repeat the process in a child theme … before updating, whenever the next theme update will arrive, at which moment we will put all our theme customizations in the child theme
